Early Life: - As a junior, he was named to the first team All-Wisconsin, and as a senior, he was a member of Dick's National High School Championship squad. Poole went on to play collegiate basketball for the University of Michigan Wolverines. He was a part of Michigan's 2017–18 squad, which won the Big Ten Tournament and progressed to the National Championship Game that season. He is most known for hitting a game-winning buzzer-beater three-pointer in the second round of the 2018 NCAA Tournament, helping Michigan to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
