Trainee Days and Debut as Astro member

Despite his dashing looks, Cha Eun Woo never imagined being an actor or singer in the first place. Not to mention, his mother always reminded him not to be vain of his looks.

But during his Hanlim days, young Eun Woo participated in the KBS’s high-school quiz program called “Golden Bell Challenge!” 

Thanks to his good looks, Eun Woo was noticed by an idol agent and later scouted by a Fantagio manager during a school festival.

Even though he refused initially, the talent hunters persisted and eventually persuaded his parents to let him be a trainee.
